Jodhpur - A blue city (2days of tourism and 3 days of back pack traveler)

This Christmas we explored Jodhpur ki Galiyaan. Jodhpur is an ancient city with history and monuments.

Just imagine there are 2 tuktuk riding in the passage of your corporate office, these steep and narrow are the roads of Old Jodhpur 👀

There are many mystery behind the name Blue City which are both scientific as well as traditional. Traditionally the bramhins have their home painted blue as this is the bring luck color.
Scientifically, the blue color of Jodhpur is to keep the city cool from the heat of the sun.

It is said that the entire Jodhpur city was segregated on the basis of 3 personas;
  1. Warriors in front of the Mehrangarh Fort
  2. Rulers in the fort
  3. Brahmins behind the fort

Here we were in the city of Jodhpur which we decided to take a tour of in 2 days.

We stayed at the Hotel Jewel Palace, this was very budget friendly with the look and feel of actual Jodhpur's art, when compared with other hotels. Did feel that we were in the haveli.

The best of all the room is the Castle view, which gives you a perfect view of the fort and the white temple. Early morning you wakeup with the rays of sun rising in front of your bed.

They have a good terrace where you can have a quality time, with perfect breeze and the mesmerizing views.

We connected with the manager and made an itinerary of the places to be visited in our 2 days tour and then some off beat trips.
